  • 2010 Jeep Wrangler- High/Low beams flash then go off. Everything else works, no other visible problems. Took into dealer- diagnosed cause PITM problem suggested replace PITM. Tech told me that he unhooked lights, cleaned, checked continuity. checked OK. VIP SUMMARY REPORT reflects DTC's Present: ECU= "TIPMCGW" DTC= "B162F/Stored" Description= "Right Low Beam Control Circuit Low". Came home, turned lights to ON position. Briefly flashed and then stayed ON. Two hours later turned lights to ON position. Came on. Started Jeep, turned lights to ON. Came on and stayed ON. Maybe not a TPIM problem but a connect problem that may have been unknowingly cleaned/fixed when checking light connection at dealer. I will unhook all plug connections, unplug, clean with electrical spray and reconnect then monitor to see if problems come back. Would like to know what fuse or item in the fuse box (TIPM) corresponds to the "Right Low Beam Control Circuit Low" description.
