The fuel gauge is not working I had AutoZone check it and they said it was the fuel level sensor circuit high input the gauge is not sensing the amount of gas in the car at all

Vehicle: 2007 Chrysler Sebring 2.4L 4 Cyl

This usually indicates a problem with the fuel sending unit itself,however the wiring must be checked first. There is no signal to the computer from the sending unit. In most cases replacing the unit will resolve the code and the problem.
