I have a 2011 Ford F-150 FX2 3.5 Ecoboost, 125,00 miles. It will not start if it sits for hours. It acts like it's a dead battery but battery is brand new and checked out. The diagnostic codes read P06B8 Internal Control Module Non Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) Error and then secondarily reads, ECM/PCM Relay De-energised too early. How do I correct this so it will start every time.

P06B8 Internal control module Non -Volatile random access memory error

The definition of this is the ECM ability to correctly store permanent DTC. This code was encountered but the fix was to send it to the dealer. . But this you can try, the BCM (Body control module has a Recall and there is a safety recall for the PCM. do those if they have not been done. P06B8 does not  stall the engine or act like a dead battery. it runs and drives fine. What does act like a dead battery is the PCM relay. located in the engine fuse junction use the cover as a map with the key on  wiggle the PCM relay or remove and insert all at the same time you should be able to hear the fuel injector power up. then you should be able to start up.

The Body control module require a replacement due to fire hazard TSB # 10V659000 , The PCM is under a safety recall. where a reprogram is required. TSB # 16S19
