I have a 2002 Saab 9-3 2.0L Turbo and it was put on a diagnostics test and the codes read out p0034 camshaft position sensor

          p1312 control module 1
          p1334 control module 2
          p1625 abs module

my question is I contacted o rileys auto part store and they told me my car doesn't have a camshaft position sensor. I'm trying to get my car fix and I'm confused

Best answer

P1312 Combustion detection 1+2 open circuit

P1334 Combustion detection 3+4 open circuit

P1625 No BUS data from Trionic or TCM

P1625 is for the ABS system , Does the speedometer works? if it does disregard for now, P0034 this vehicle does not use a camshaft position sensor or a knock sensor it uses the discharge igntion module, which uses the sparkplugs and to detect combustion and knocking. P0034 would be for the exhaust bypass valve If you want to fix P1312 and P1334 the igntion module will require replacement, and it is important that the sparkplug be check and you would need to use OEM which is required for the vehicle. or it will reset P1312 or P1334. The igntion discharge module tends to overheat which renders it useless.
