I have a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country and I have six codes for the Trans. The codes are p0734 gear 4 incorrect ratio, p0700 trans control system malfunction, p1782,p1787, p1784. If I was to change the transmission solenoid on the top of the transmission would that fix my problem. My Van go's for about 5 min and then won't move anymore shut the Van off for 5 min and it will move for another 3 to 5 min.

Best answer
P0700 Transmission fault detected Mil light requested

P0732 Gear 2 incorrect ratio

P1782   2-4 Pressure switch sense circuit

P1787   OD hydraulic pressure switch circuit

P1784 L-R pressure switch circuit

Is there any type of noise from the torque convertor area, like a whinny noise?. or a humming noise? From the transmission area where the torque convertor is , this would indicate a transmission mechanical problem. Where there  any of these code where there a Loss of Prime code? P0732 is caused due to the accumulator and not from the pressure switch , This is more of a mechanical condition than it is with the solenoid pack as the fix, You need to have the transmission pan removed and check for any heavy sediment, or heavy discoloration such as silvery brownish red (lack of better description) , and if this was a recent rebuilt is the magnetic in the transmission pan in place? It is the condition of what is in the transmission pan that will determine if this is the solenoid  pack as the fix.Because there is P0732 and P1782 one points to the accumalator the other a valve body and or solenoid pack, replace the transmission.
