what dose code p1612 and p1610 mean

asked Oct 27, 2011 by anonymous

1 Answer

P1612 is an immobilizer code.In most cases it means the security system has shut the vehicle down. This is because it doesn't recognize the key. You will have to have the key reprogrammed by the dealer to resolve the problem.
