U 1255 Loss of serial communication

Battery low? Anti theft disabled? Engine does not crank? To begin U 1255 has nothing to do with the anti-theft unit, It also has nothing to do with the no crank or the none start. U1255 is a serial line with a group of module that contains the body control, the suspesion module,,climate control,...ect. If the vehicle does not crank, this can be from a mechanical condition to a failed starter,to a broken ignition strut rod.To even a low battery condition, U1255 has other code with it that identifies the failed module, until the vehicle start U1255 is not valid.
