The Engine Control Module (ECM) is unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum.

ECM running system monitor and detected excessive vacuum in the fuel tank/EVAP system.

  1. Blocked EVAP canister or vent solenoid
  2. Kinked or collapsed hose between canister and fuel tank
  3. Failed fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor

A clogged canister or partially restricted canister can caused this problem.
