2003 Dodge Having trouble restarting engine soon after turning engine off. Received 3 trouble codes after waiting about 20 minutes and then restarting the engine. MIL codes P0016, P0339, P0344. All three relate to camshaft/crankshaft alignment/timing. When fault is occuring engines sounds like it is cutting out around 3500 rpm. Engine will not restart before waitng 20-30 minutes. Engine runs fine otherwise (less than 3500 rpm), what can the likely cause be?

Vehicle: 2003 Dodge Dakota 4.7 litre

Hi there

Usually this is one of the sensors losing communication. Most of the time it's because the sensor get's hot and has to cool down before the truck will start again. You need a scan tool that can read live data to determine which one of the sensors is failing.
