I got the code P0320 on my 2004 Kia Optima, standard tach quit 2 months ago vehicle starts and runs fine

HI there,

The code is for the ignition fail sensor. This is mounted to the cylinder head on the driver side of the engine. The tach not working is one of the signs of the sensor failing. Eventually the car will stop running.
