Vehicle shifts but at 40- 50 mph it lags and will straighten out once above that mph. But you have to keep it above that for it to stay smooth. Doesn't like climbing small upgrades of its in that mph also.

What you are describing is a shift concern you can even notice it when you do a passing maneuver, some times there is a transmission flare. Gather any code that may be set. If there is none set, Your fix is to replace the valve body and reprogram the TCM / PCM  You only do this if the transmission fluid is not burnt, and in the transmission pan there is no heavy elements.
