my car had a fault last week and it was a cylinder 4 injector valve low pressure .. this was replaced by the garage.. now i have a P228C fault that came on and disappeared , i have had this check by a different garage and it has come up with ..fuel pressure regulator 1 exceeded control limits - pressure too low, no sub-code available - Not current DTC
CAN YOU EXPLAIN AND CAN I STILL DRIVE THE CAR SAFELY

Hi there,

This code is triggered when the PCM detects the fuel pressure becomes too low, or below the factory specs. I would suggest getting this checked soon. Here is a list of possible causes for this.
