We just replaced the fuel pump, now it has check engine light on with the code P0306. Any suggestions where I should start?

Hi there,

I would start by checking the plug, and the coil. If you swap the coil with another one and the misfire moves with it then you know the coil is no good. If you have one with a distributor cap and wires, with the engine running spray some water on it and see if you can see the spark arcing. This will tell you if the wires are no good. You can also look for an intake manifold leak. With the engine running spray some carb cleaner along the intake. If the idle smooths out or speeds up, then you have a leak.
