My 2011 GMC Terrain gets a "engine power reduced" message and it slows down to where you can only drive around 10 mph. If you shut the car off and wait about 30 seconds, you can restart and then drive again. It started to do it more and more often. I read that you can try and clean the throttle. Did that with spraying throttle cleaner into it. But I am still having the problem. I took it to find the error message and it was P2135. (It also has error message P0013 but they said they believe that is a previous error from something else). Will replacing the throttle body solve this issue? Thank you!

P2135 Throttle position sensor 1-2 not plausable

What causes this code is the TPS which is part of the throttle body. and other code condition will set this code, what you have reported is P0013 this can be from P0013 setting, Repair P0013 first this is the exhaust camshaft actuator and it is advisable that you replace the intake camshaft actuator. Replace both actuator solenoid Thats if you have not already perfromed the Recall for Rough idle and Poor drivabilty Recall # 1195B.This recall will also replace the camshaft actuator.and reprogram the ECM.
