I have a Lincoln LS sport 2006 I am getting a code that says ignition coil a primary / secondary circuit I was thinking it was cylinder 1 so I replaced the plug and coil I am still getting the same code. When it is hot outside the problem occurs more frequently with hesitation and less power and almost to the point of stalling.

Vehicle: 2006 LIncoln LS Sport, v8

P0351 Ignition coil A Primary /  Secondary circuit

This code condition is one or more ignition coil , dealing with the secondary ignition, what happens is the boot tends to rip,or get bloated and its secondary seeks ground instead of going into its sparkplugs causing the hesistation or even a misfire (all under load) , water or even coolant tends to seep into the sparkplug well and cause these ignition short or P0351.You pulll each sparkplug coil out and check the boot for cracks that can cause its secondary to seek ground. Here is a sparkplug coil /boot that caused a P0351  Here you can see the cracks at the boot that cause it to loose its secondary igntion under load.
