Best answer
P0500 Vehicle speed sensor

P0300 Random misfire

When the overdrive light flashes it detected a transmission problem a open circuit. Check the operation of the speedometer a non operation of the speedometer indcates a VSS fault. P0300 is random misfire if you hit the gas and it putts, this is ignition problem , this year make and model does not give exact misfire cylinder location,so check each coil startingr at the rear where the heater hoses are check and look in the sparkplug well for water or coolant that may seep in there causing a misfire and the sparkplug boot for any cracking or evidence of ignition spark seeking ground. Is this the O.D light flashing or the CK ENG LT.?
