2009 Chev. Aveo -- Check engine light showed up in morning. Took to Advance Auto Parts for free scan -- P0014 came up, the repair part about $50. I do not have tech to fix. Took to Chev Garage, They scanned, found same code -($70.00 charge) no part in stock- take a couple days - OK to drive until then....2 days later, no check engine light.....called to advise garage. Rep said this might appear again & they now have part. Only thing out of ordinary shortly before was stop at gas station with different gas than what we use. Since this is typically ' oil related' could different fuel have a part in the problem? Light disappeared after next fuel-up with different fuel.

Vehicle: 2009, Chevrolet, Aveo 1.6L

if you have not replaced your oil in the last 4k miles I would replace the oil and filter first. use 5w-30 or if it is cold there use 0w-30 oil only.

the fuel does not have anything to do, sometimes dirty oil will lightly clog the valve and then when it moves out and the light might go off since the car does not replicate the problem.
