P0300 Random misfire

Random misfire are when the engine has a misfire, this code also mean more than 2 cylinders.Mechanical condition can cause random misfire such as a slipped timing belt to a cylinder valve train. The way to fix this is to identify the problem . You will need to do a compression test of all 4 cylinders, with a minimun compression of 170 psi. If the compression are good you will need to check for proper fuel injector function. ( This particular year has known fuel injector circuit malfunction TSB # 10-13-007.) .
