did a scan on my 2000 Nissan Maxima SE 3.0L, And the only code that appeared is P0430 Bank 2. what would i have to do to fix this issue. would I have to change the cat that's in front of the radiator and the o2 sensor as well for bank 2 or should I replace all the 02 at once to avoid issues later down the road. the car has 131,000 miles as i speak.

P0430 is usually a bad catalytic converter there is a small percentage of its oxygen sensor. if there is no issue within the engine and all the services have been done on time (spark plugs, fuel injectors are working correctly, no intake or exhaust leaks) replacing the catalyst converter will fix the issue.

Possible causes:

- Three-way catalyst converter Bank 2
- Exhaust tube
- Intake air leaks
- Fuel injectors may be faulty
- Fuel injector leaks
- Spark plugs may be faulty
- Improper ignition timing
