how to fix a PO 455 CODE

check engine light comes on a lot. I erase it w/my obd II scanner.

Vehicle: 2006 chevy impala 3.5 v6

HI there,

This code is for a leak in the evap system. This can be caused by a lot of different things, a leaking gas cap or a sticking vent control valve are the most common. The best method to diagnose it is to use a smoke test. This will find the leak and then you can repair the failed component.
