P0300 Random misfire, the most popular cause of this is the fuel pressure regulator, what happens is the diaghram rips and sends fuel into the intake causing random misfire ,backfiring on accleration ,this is when the fuel pressure becomes too low due to the fuel regulator. If the fuel regulator is found to be faulty check the oil make sure it did not get diluted by fuel.

this was a great answer your also a great mechanic.. just so happens...I went outside this morning with no intent to fix anything just wanted to move my car so my wife could get out the driveway and the car shut off when I put it into drive...it did this numerous times...well I thought of this answer.. I checked the vacuum line into the regulator and sure smelled gas took the dipstick out and sure smelled a faint smell of gas but none the less Im going to change the regulator today and I will surely keep updating my progress.

changed fuel pressure regulator and still no difference.. car will not run without keeping foot on gas.. before it would at least run(High) at idle and now it wont even stay on...
